We are all compilations of our parts.
The part of you that says, "I love myself."
The part of you that doubts yourself.
The part of you that criticizes yourself.
The part of you that's playful.
Oftentimes, we find ourselves disconnected from these parts. Think about a behavior you engaged in to avoid feeling. Here's a personal example: I used to binge eat. Right before I'd binge, I would experience some combination of desperation, anxiety, and numbness. When actively eating, I felt relief. When I finished, either that night or the following day, I hated myself.
And then the cycle continued. Why? Because each of those feelings and thought patterns came from different parts of myself, and I wasn't connected to any of them. When I remained disconnected from those parts, I remained in a constant, miserable inner battle.
Parts work, in my definition, is the learning of each of our parts, and using that knowledge and relationship building to find alignment and inner peace.

I approach parts work from a goal setting perspective. In our sessions, we will clarify what it is you really want, externally and internally, and create an action plan to bring your limitless reality to life.
In the process of building that reality, parts of you will naturally come up with thoughts, feelings, beliefs, resistance, and experiences. The key to not only realizing your dreams but to healing and inner peace is creating the space for these parts, learning them, and loving them.
During our coaching sessions, we open the space to communicate with those parts through gentle curiosity so you can heal AND have it all.

Our work together takes place over a minimum of two months. The process I've created for clarifying what your limitless life looks like, implementing the steps to get there, and engaging in parts work throughout that process requires commitment and time.
Everyone is different; sometimes, a two-month kickstart is all you need, and sometimes it's a six-month process. We'll regularly evaluate together what makes the most sense for your needs.

I was twenty four and nine months when I hit rock bottom. After having already experienced fifteen years of trauma and suicidal thoughts and ideation, my life felt unlivable, I was convinced I was a failure, and I was hospitalized. It was in the hospital that I realized I could start anew and turn my life around. I asked myself the question that changed everything:
If I could be, do, or have anything in the world, what would that look like? (This is, by the way, the question we start with in our sessions together.)
Over the following year, I manifested my dream apartment, dream car, and dream relationship and went on my first ever tour for my music, a 65-day, 11,000-mile solo journey across the U.S.! I created a method out of the steps I took to rise up from rock bottom and build a limitless life.
As I grew my external dreams, I quickly realized that alongside the work it took to shift my mindset and achieve the external, I needed to delve so much deeper in order to fully heal from my trauma experiences. I dove headfirst into Internal Family Systems, studying as a patient for six years with one of the leading experts of the industry, Dr. Frank Anderson, before training as a student so I could incorporate this trauma-informed modality into my work as a coach.
Ultimately, I realized the truth we'll find together: That it is possible to release the inner battle, find inner connection and peace, and heal our wounds.

WHAT'S THE DIFFERENCE?
INTERNAL FAMILY SYSTEMS: The IFS Institute supplies this definition: "Internal Family Systems (IFS) is a therapeutic model that views every human being as a system of protective and wounded inner parts guided by a core Self."
In my definition and experience, IFS sessions (or therapy in general) present an opportunity to delve into the wounds, traumas, and origins of each of our parts. Therapy is a safe space to not only learn and connect with your past self, but to feel the deep emotions that come with that healing work.
In our parts work sessions, we do not actively feel into wounds and past experiences. We focus less on the why behind your parts and instead focus on the what of your present experience. As we dive into goal setting, what thoughts and beliefs are coming up for you? What's keeping you where you are right now and preventing you from moving forward? While we make sure to keep the line of communication with your parts open, we remain in the present moment to navigate what you need here and now.
